AM CAN Ch Pero Forest Flute of Sun Diata

Flute was owner-handled to theTop Ten, with 4 Group I placements the same year his littermate, Ch. Pero’s Krugerrand, was #1 on the Top Ten. Flute was a true “breeder’s dog,” lovely type, outstanding movement, gentle and wise temperament, and exceptional health. He produced 13 champions and is on the Stud Dog Honor Roll. He was clear of PPM and produced no known genetic diseases. In 1978, he won Best of Breed under the renowned English breeder judge, Jayne Stringer (Horsley Basenjis) at the Canadian Specialty, and in 1981, he won Best of Breed under Ann Rogers Clark at the Chicagoland Specialty. Flute was the first Basenji to hold titles in all three activities: conformation, obedience, and the new one, lure coursing.
